Staff create a warm and caring atmosphere, giving children choices and allowing them to make errors and decisions whilst offering sensitive help when needed. This opens children up to learning and helps children to build resilience, self-regulation and engage with their learning positively. Staff explore alongside the children tuning into their thought processes, providing opportunities for them to practise and apply what they know and can do, supporting and extending their learning.
